Green Buildings?

August 12, 2014

Eco-friendly business initiatives and sustainability are buzz words right alongside Big Data and Big Data analytics, but what exactly does that translate into as far as business people are concerned? Socially Responsible Investing (SRI) is the terminology used to describe investments that are oriented toward long-term, sustainable, and eco-friendly business models. Importantly, these investments have attracted the attention of some of the world’s largest institutional investors, and, collectively, have several trillion dollars in assets under management.

In other words, sustainability is big business.

Sustainability and “green” initiatives are limited to investment professionals. However, these themes are also carrying over into construction. Eco-friendly buildings save businesses money, enhance brand equity, and are good for the environment – check out the link below for some pictures.
